You need to know who you will be working with

... especially when what you're working on is finding the place you're going to live, or finding a buyer for the home you're in now.  You need help from someone who not only knows the DFW area but is also up-to-date on the latest tools, strategies, and resources the real estate industry has to offer.

That's what you get with Barry Klompus.

Barry works constantly to improve his professional knowledge and sharpen his expertise.  He actively pursues the latest resources and technology to help you find your perfect home.  Employing the most current marketing techniques he will give you an edge in selling your home.

You can rest assured that Barry is never satisfied with "good enough."  He makes sure he can offer you the best because that's really the only thing that is actually good enough.

Barry Klompus has a firm foundation in the Tarrant County business community.  His background and experience have made him an expert in how small businesses in our area work and grow.  He founded, developed and sold two prosperous companies before embarking on a successful real estate career.  His expertise continues to expand in his current position as Owner and Broker at Elder Tree Realty.

Barry was raised in the Chicago area then moved to Arizona to pursue his Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona Eller College of Management, relocating to the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex in 1981 and he's been in business here ever since.

Barry first became interested in real estate while looking at investments.  Because of his background in construction and home services, he had knowledge about the practical aspects of homebuilding that gave him a distinct advantage in residential real estate.  As he grew more interested, Barry decided it was the right move for the next step in his career.   He sold his interest as owner of Mid Cities Roofing and co-owner of Illuminart in 2007 and began working full time in real estate.

Barry continues to work at the heart of small business in the Tarrant County area.  He has served on the Board of Directors of local nonprofit organizations including the Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce.  Barry is a busy networker, supporting the business community everywhere he works.  A passion of Barrys is to contribute to efforts benefiting our community.  He has spearheaded initiatives helping those "less fortunate" than some.  You will often find Barry organizing food drives, clothing drives, and blood drives.  He has helped with after school meal programs as well as Meals on Wheels.  He, along with his loving pet dogs, have volunteered to bring some companionship to those living in assisting living and nursing centers.

Barry Klompus has proven his skill in making small business work.  His knowledge and expertise are a valuable asset to the local business community and to the community at large.  And just importantly, to his clients.
